- What is an Urgent Care Center?
- An urgent care center is a place to receive medical care when you need it. We are an alternative to the emergency room for non life-threatening concerns. We do not want to replace your primary doctor, but if you cannot get in to see them please consider us instead of spending your entire day in the emergency room. ..Back to Top

Our Services

- We will provide treatment for any acute condition or illness that is not life threatening which you would otherwise use the emergency department of a hospital. - The nature of urgent care is to provide treatment when it is needed. In fairness to patients who need to be seen immediately, we do not make individual appointments; however, regardless of symptoms, our goal is to see each patient as quickly as possible...Back to Top

- Yes, following your visit we will fax your primary care doctor a copy of your discharge instructions which will include your diagnosis, any treatment modality utilized, and other important information...Back to Top
Insurance/Payment
- Does the Urgent Care Center accept my insurance?
- Most private insurance providers will be accepted. We currently do not accept medical assistance plans (i.e. none of the following: Medicaid, Unison, Keystone Mercy, Health Partners, or Tricare). We are contracted with CHIP. To be certain you will not receive a bill in the mail, it is always best to call the customer service number on the back of your insurance card...Back to Top
- What if I do not have health insurance?
- We will see any patient without insurance, we do, however, expect payment at the end of each visit for services rendered. We try to be understanding of those who have no health insurance and bill accordingly...Back to Top

- Yes, we take a specialist co-pay. You will need to check your health insurance card or contact your health insurance company to find out what your co-pay will be...Back to Top

- We accept most major credit cards, debit, and cash. We do not currently accept personal checks...Back to Top
Concerns from Primary Care Doctor’s Perspective
- Why should I send my patients to you?
- The Urgent Care Center desires to be an extension of your office. Our convenient office evening and weekend hours are designed to give you peace of mind and help reduce your burden. When you are on call or your day is booked full, you can rest assured that if you send your patient to us we will give them appropriate quality care for their acute ailment and return them to you for regular treatment as needed.
- What about follow-up care?
- Every patient is referred back to their primary care doctor. If a patient has no primary doctor we will help the patient find one. After every visit each discharge summary will be faxed to the patient’s primary doctor.
- Will you tell me what care my patient received?
- A discharge note will be faxed to the primary care doctor following every patient visit and will contain the reason we saw them and the treatment plan.
